Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how NextEra Security(“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit NextEra Security at nexterasecurity.com(the “Site”) or contact us through it. We are a software consulting firm, and we keep the data we collect to the minimum needed to respond to you and operate the Site.
Information we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us, plus limited technical data needed to run the Site:
- Information you submit. When you use our contact form or request a free review, we collect the details you provide, such as your name, email address, company, and the contents of your message.
- Technical and log data. Like most websites, our hosting providers automatically record basic technical information (for example, IP address, browser type, and pages requested) to deliver the Site securely and prevent abuse.
- Anti-spam data. Our forms use technical measures (such as hidden honeypot fields) to detect automated submissions.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information, and we do not sell your personal information.
How we use information
- To respond to your inquiries and provide the services you request.
- To communicate with you about a potential or existing engagement.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site.
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues.
- To comply with legal obligations.
How information is shared
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers that help us operate the Site and our business, such as hosting and infrastructure providers (for example, Cloudflare and Render) and email delivery services, acting on our behalf.
- Legal and safety recipients, when we reasonably believe disclosure is required to comply with the law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of NextEra Security, our clients, or others.
Cookies, local storage, and analytics
We use two categories of client-side storage, and we never use advertising cookies or sell your data:
- Essential storage (always on). We use browser local storage for functionality that makes the Site work, such as remembering your cookie choice and keeping authorized staff signed in to the internal portal. This does not require consent because the Site cannot function properly without it.
- Analytics cookies (only with your consent). If you select “Accept” on our cookie banner, we load Google Analytics, which sets cookies (for example,
_ga) to measure aggregate, anonymized traffic so we can understand how the Site is used and improve it. We enable IP anonymization. If you select “Decline,” these cookies are not set and Google Analytics is not loaded.
We may also use privacy-friendly, cookieless measurement (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics) and error-monitoring tools that help us keep the Site reliable and secure. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the footer, which reopens the banner.
Data retention
We keep the information you submit for as long as needed to respond to you, manage our relationship, and meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements, after which we delete or anonymize it.
Security
Security is central to how we work. We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), reputable infrastructure providers, and access controls to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to safeguard your data.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact us using the details below and we will respond in line with applicable law.
International transfers
We operate remotely and work with clients worldwide. Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our service providers operate. Where required, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
Children’s privacy
The Site is intended for businesses and professionals and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
